Dr. Thomas James Seiter Jr., MD

I contracted with Marian Medical for $6,200 on March 15, 2021 and was told that my claim would be filed with the VA in 2-3 weeks.  After multiple calls and promises I finally decided to show up  unannounced on April 11, 2022 (over 1 year after contract signed) because they would not answer any emails to set up an appointment. I waited most of the day for Dr. Seiter to show up which he finally did.  On a side note he made a gentleman wait all day that had an early morning appointment.  When he finally met with me a couple hours were spent going through how to file the claim and the process and finally after some discussion I told him he did not need to return my money (as he had offered) as long as he got it done in a couple weeks.  He promised he would, once we met for a scheduled appointment.  We met on the morning of April 26, 2022 and proceeded working on the claim.  He had to take about a 2 hour break from the discussion because his wife needed his attention and then later he took about 1.5 hrs to pick his children up from school.  We then continued till approx. 8:30 pm when his wife called a couple of times asking when he was getting home.  I received his assurance that if I left would he get it done that night, me being a fool I believed him.  I guess the word of a former Naval and Army Officer does not mean much. On Friday, May 6, 2022 I made another unannounced showing at the office,  he was not there but the office manager was and let him know I was here.  I was told that he would come over at some point in the day. During my wait another Veteran came in and said that his one year dead line to file was expiring on Monday (from what I understand as of 5/10/22 Marian Medical failed to file so they did another disservice to a Vet).At 3:30 pm the office manger had to leave to pick up his own children, so I waited outside in my car until 4:38 pm to no avail and finally left. I came to Dr. Seiter because of a glowing recommendation and when you talk to him he is very competent and lets you know he is very good at what he does, that might be true in the past but what good is it if he cannot complete the work.  Hopefully he will complete the work but I don’t think he will.  This is not a one off complaint, see links below:

I have invested a lot of time with these people but I would advise any potential new clients to not waste their time with this very unprofessional business they do not respond to emails, text, messages, chats on website, and their fax number does no work.  
Closing note, their answering service needs to stop answering with them “how can we help you with your VA claim today” because they don’t help, they string along clients.

Update 6/6/22:  I have sent numerous emails and text messages to the Dr. and Sarah to no avail.  Their answering service is still taking calls and I can only assume taking new clients.

Update 6/24/22:  The answering service is now just a taped message, no live person is answering any longer.
