ALWAYS having to wait at-least 20-30 min in the lobby and another 30-45 min in the room before being seen. Well after OVER  15 years of my entire family being patients. I finally said something to Him when he entered the room. He made an excuse about the prior patient. I responded that No this has been going on for YEARS and my time is also important. Not to mention I had 2 kids that had to do med checks every 3 months and they have been on this medication for over 10 years. I have 5 children so on top of them getting sick, and  the regular med checks every 3 months for 2 kids we were  always in there.  I could tell that this irritated him. The next month we missed a med check and he immediately sent me a letter that he was Dismissing my entire family as patients. Obviously he was being petty because  I FINALLY said something about having to wait so long to be seen. This happened every single visit without fail!!!!  When I found my new Dr I was in complete shock at how quickly we were seen!!! So he did me a huge fair however he is Petty.  This also caused us to not be able to seen at some Via Christi Ascension Immediate care Clinics. I should have fought it but I didn’t find that out til years later.

Even if you take an 8:30 appointment right after the office opens, you can guarantee waiting in the exam room for well over an hour.  For one appointment, I waited 1hour 45 minutes and finally popped my head to ask the nurse if I had been forgotten about - she snapped back something rude about me needing to be patient and rolled her eyes.  I refuse to go back and have been using walk-in clinics until I can choose a new primary physician.
