Dr. Tavares Kinte Williams, M.D.

Aside from the front desk and the medical assistant my experience with Urgent Care for Children in Cordova  was terrible!

We waited over 3 hours to endure Dr. T. William's lack of bedside manner for all of 3 minutes!  

When he finally came into the room, he didn't use hand sanitizer or wash his hands, then proceeded to use his ungloved fingers to examine my son's eye.  Less than 3 min in the room & he was gone. That was the extent of the visit with Dr. Williams. I had questions about Rx given & was asked why I needed to know the reasoning behind it. Prior to leaving the office, I asked to speak to the office manager to discuss the issues & was told he would give her my name and number to call me, but when I asked her name, so I could expect her call, he had to ask a medical assistant bc he didn’t know her name!   I never received a call, as expected. 

I will never visit Urgent Care for Children again. I’d rather sit in another waiting room for hours to see someone passionate & understanding, with a good bedside manner..all qualities of which Dr. Tavares Williams severely lacked.
