If you’re looking for a NP that is transactional this is the right NP for you if you’re looking for a NP that discount your feelings and  your health concerns, your care needs then this is the right NP for you. I’ve been seeing NP Joshsi at Duke Medical pain  clinic for almost a year now. my last appointment I felt as if it was the right time to express my concerns about my care because it was a witness in the room so I’m thinking great I’ll do this while I have a witness. Therefore NP Joshsi  can’t misconstrued my words, or say something that wasn’t true , (little did I know) my appointment was the worst one yet I explained to Dr. Joshi how I felt as if my care was inadequate,  That I’m feeling under prescribed and under treated and that she is not taking my concern. Seriously and  dismissing my complaints as if they don’t matter. I express my concerns how my visits feel transactional . I also mentioned that I found a few national reputable studies showing how minorities are under prescribed and under treated when it comes to pain, they are not believed. And her response” that’s not true that’s not true” she just kept repeating that now I never raise my voice. I never change my tone, and I never used abusive language. However, when I read my patient notes from that visit, she stated that I was “abusive and racism.” Those was her words so it me expressing my concerns about my care is abusive, then label me and abuser !!!  Instead of addressing my concerns, she got upset out the exam room through her head back in the hallway and yelled. “OMG.” I said what are you 12? So if you want NP that don’t know how to use her words than  she is right for you !! Me myself rather have a NP that listens to my concerns not blow me off as if I don’t have any say in my care and my feeling are not valid I want a NP that knows how to use her words not one that can’t even communicate professionally not throw a temper tantrum!!! Because she don’t like what is being said. Personally, I would like to think of my healthcare advocates as family not as foes thank you for reading my review.
