I’ve been a patient of Dr. Rudnicki’s for several years. I have found her to be very professional and extremely knowledgeable in her field. She helps you understand the “why” and gives you concrete tools to successfully manage situations. She has been invaluable to me and my family. I highly recommend her services.
Dr. Rudnicki is an active listener and empathetic. She asked probing questions that identified underlying experiences impacting my behavior and relationships. She helped me to understand patterns that had developed through my childhood experiences and that awareness has helped me to make positive changes. My family has benefited from her support for over 9 years through a number of painful and challenging experiences.
I came to her with concerns about my anxiety and OCD and she both helped me see the need to discuss deeper topics that related back to my anxiety but also helped me change my view on medication so that I could move forward! The experience was so positive for me that I recommended her to my wife who was seeking a therapist at the time!
After the first therapist I tried was dismissive of my perspective and experiences, I started seeing Dr Rudnicki. In the first session, she was able to help me see my childhood through a new lens which was key towards putting me on the path towards mental health and self forgiveness. She is engaged and empathetic, I feel that she creates a completely safe space for me to communicate my deepest fears, worries, and helps me work through them by bringing me out of the emotional anxiety and into more rational thinking. She has also been instrumental in helping me find the right medicine by advocating that I ask for certain help from a psychiatrist. Even outside of my mental health, she helps champion my physical well being and shares suggestions for how I can advocate for myself with doctors who are dismissive. Highly recommend Dr Rudnicki!
Unprofessional, dismissed my concerns for my daughter’s mental health. She’s been depressed and not wanting to attend school, she suggested it’s teenage rebellion. She disrespected me in front of my daughter, she didn’t see me and get the background or ask questions as to why I’m concerned about her mental health. She told me I needed to change my parenting, and explained how she had to get a phd to be a decent parent and she is just expressing her opinion ..all this while my daughter is sitting there too.She didn’t see us separately. She explained the theory of relativity to me,& then proceeded to tell me to do nothing, but take away my (16yr) old daughter’s cell phone until she goes to school. When I mentioned I’m worried my daughter has been depressed she immediately said well, she has to go to school and then we can deal with emotional problems..what about medication? If she’s dismissing emotional issues, why would you bring up medication? She said well, let her flunk out of high school and then she’ll realize she needs to go because she’ll have to repeat the year. How is this helpful? I left there feeling like a horrible parent, embarrassed that this “doctor”disrespectfully spoke to me in front of my daughter. It was more than uncomfortable.I’ve moved around a lot and we have seen multiple therapists, and this is the worst I’ve ever been to. Please do not waste your time on a doctor that clearly wants a paycheck and is running a business through Aetna’s help allowing her to be a provider. She is also not in touch with 2022 and the stresses teens feel presently. She kept referring to her grown children …and how successful they are..because of her tough parenting..but her kids did not grow up in 2020-2022.
