I called this office as a new patient looking for an appointment . The person that answered the phone (Penny) was very rude. She asked for all of my personal information then stated that she would have to check with the Dr. to see if she wanted to accept me. She called me back and left a message I returned the call and she stated that the Dr wanted all of my medical records to review before she would make a decision. I stated that I would just find another Dr. and she said why and I said because I do not see why I should continue to provide all of my personal information and medical records and she does not know if she is going to accept me as a patient. I am not comfortable with doing that. She proceeded to get very snappy and cut me off and said well if you want to make an appointment then call us back and hung up the phone. I will never call this office again. Why would I want to be subjected to rude and obnoxious behaviour when asking a question and then she hung up. I have plenty of insurance coverage and they need to realize that they are not the only office in Knoxville.
