I am overall very pleased with my first visit with Dr. Svoboda. I did have to wait a bit in the lobby (30 minutes), but then once I was in a room I was seen by the nurses and doctors immediately. I had to get x-rays and speak with two other additional people, and didn't have any waiting time. Dr. Svoboda had great bedside manner and provided very helpful information and insight on my injury.

In this follow up visit to my first appointment (which I waited an hour to see the doctor), I finally gave up. I waited in the waiting room for about 30 minutes after arriving early, and was finally brought back to an examination room, where after the nurse took my vitals, I waited another 30 minutes. When I had been at the doctor for more than an hour after my appointment time, I decided to leave. I explained to the nurses that Dr Svoboda probably needs to see fewer patients to be able to provide the level of care he aspires to.

The first visit the provider mentioned a certain treatment plan and during the second visit he was reluctant to proceed with the plan. In the third (latest) visit he just sprung out a new plan without any regard to what he said before. I feel I am being manipulated. After all the time that I invested in him and I am this far In the progression of my health Issue that it is complicated to transferring my care into another provider. Sadly, he (with his gears of experience in this profession) is fully aware of this reality that I passed the stage of having the flexibility to transfer easily and at this point I can only stay with him and submit.

Dr. Svoboda listened to my concerns, had me do a few exercises to check my shoulder pain and also finger pain. He went a step further and used a model to demonstrate the way my muscles work. Then identified the area where I feel pain. He told me that physical therapy would help with my shoulders, and occupational therapy could help with my finger. If not, then he would recommend a hand surgeon.

Besides having my treatment with the doctor, I had requested to see my enlarged prostate problem in which case he promised me to transfer my request to another doctor, but did not take any action or informed me anything. I see the as a lack of concentration to a patient!
