Stephanie is a great therapist! I've been in therapy off and on throughout my life and never felt it did anything for me - not helpful. She has helped me see things differently and incorporate the life skills I never got when I was younger! Highly Recommend!!! She is compassionate but challenging and helped me learn how to challenge my own internal narrative. She also helped me be a better parent and let go of self sabotage, guilt, and shame.
Ms Koerner provided incompetent counseling of the foster children in my care then did NOT provide the urgently needed follow up counseling in a timely manner and then Ms Koerner did harmful actions (to the children) to provide a smokescreen to cover her own wrong actions. Ms Koerner put her own interests in front of that of her clients, the children. It began with Ms Koerner jumping into counseling without making herself familiar with even the correct names of the people involved plus Ms Koerner broke emotionally disturbing news to the children. The counseling the children received from Ms Koerner was highly disturbing and caused an emotional break in one of them. The next day, I notified Ms Koerner that her counseling had resulted in emotional problems, but she made NO effort to schedule the children into a counseling time. Each week I pursued getting the children in for follow up counseling with Ms Koerner. Finally, one month AFTER Ms Koerner had greatly up set two of my foster children, Ms Koerner, informed me she only has them scheduled for every two weeks.
