I was refered to Dr. Grady by my peditrician for follow up after my daughter had heart surgery in another state. The surgeon told me that my daughter will not need any medications and just need to see a cardiologist for periodic follow up. Dr Grady examined my daughter and said that she has weak heart and will need two different medications for the rest of her life. He also told me that she might need another surgery soon if her condition will not improve on medications. I was very upset. My daughter was doing very well and I couldn't understand why her surgeon didn't tell me about the need for medications. I decided to see another pediatric cardiologist for a second opnion. To my relief, he told me that my daughter is healthy and doesn't not need any medications, just periodic follow up exams. I was relieved and also very angry at Dr. Grady who caused so much anguish and unneeded worry. This physician is incompetent and uncaring. Stay away from him.
