My daughter had an unknown virus, she was swollen in her eyes and had a fever past 10 days. When I first made an appointment with Pottgen she mentioned right away, although it may be rare, it may be mono. She gave her covid test just to rule out some other possibilities, but we were sent for a blood test and some scans just incase it was mono. After almost 2 weeks of no answers, Pottgen was correct, it was mono. But her blood test came back very abnormal and we saw lymphoblasts. Pottgen was very concerned and immediately contacted us and informed us she was in contact with Phoenix Children's and they were aware of her situation, ans advised us to get our daughter there right away. We can't thank Dr. Pottgen enough for the care and all the concern she showed for our daughter. It felt like a concerned, yet capable family member helping us and I was in contact with her the entire time if I had any questions or concerns she would answer all of them for me. When my daughter turned out to be healthy, Pottgen let us know of her relief. If youre looking for a doctor for your child and you've found Pottgen, stop looking. You've found the best. Our family loves her!
