Ms. Shea S. Alexander, LPC, M.A.

Shea was recommended to me by a friend. I had been in a deep depression for several years. The only thing I got out of bed to do was go to work and take care of my son. I cared about nothing else, not my house or even myself. I knew I needed change, and I was struggling to make changes on my own. I had seen many counselors in the past with very little success. Shea helped me reconcile many issues that I didn't even realize were issues. She helped me pull out of my depression and start seeing the changes I needed to make for both myself and my son. While I thought I was staying in my marriage for my son, she helped me see how staying in my abusive marriage was actually detrimental to my son. I began seeing Shea at the beginning of 2019 and continued until the world shut down in March 2020 for Covid. It was also at that time that I made the separation from my husband and started making plans for my and my son's future. My son has now finished high school, and I have moved back to my hometown. In January 2022 I began classes to prepare for nursing school, and I will graduate with my BSN and will be an RN in Dec 2024. I would not be excelling as I am without God placing Shea in my path.
