We've been working with Shar for about five months with my son. We did early intervention around 18 months, and he didn't qualify for it because he scored pretty well and was using a lot of sign language. We still wanted to do something because we knew he was falling behind with speaking, and we wanted to support him as early as possible. Since we started with Shar, he has gone from really 0 words and being shy to try to speak to saying new words every day! Seeing his progress and growing confidence over the past few months has been so exciting for us. Shar is very invested in making sure each appointment is productive, and she's willing to adapt to his interests and mood each time - which is not the easiest with young kids. She is very knowledgeable and her curriculum has been working for us. She also genuinely cares about helping our son reach his milestones and is just as excited as we are when he gets new concepts and expresses new words. We would recommend Shar to anyone in a similar situation and would recommend getting started as early as possible if you feel like something is off with your child's speech development!

Shar is such a light! She is so positive and encouraging with my boys as she teaches and challenges them to improve their speech sounds. She always has a fun learning game to incorporate and provides guidance to me on how to continue progress between sessions with homework assignments and tips. I'm always amazed by her expertise and how she can detect and correct the issues. I would highly recommend her!
