Met one time with doctor who understood my history with DVT and prescribed hormones without consulting with hematologist.  She was unconcerned with menopause issues and did bare minimum.  Found another doctor in practice has specialty and wasn’t allowed to transfer.  As my own advocate for how I feel, it’s unfortunate that my health and concerns were not a priority.  The staff was unwilling to let me transfer doctors and so I am one and done with this doctor and practice.  Just know that they don’t allow you to do what’s best for you, only for them.

Dr. Sara Knowlton is one of the best Gyn providers I have ever known.  She is not only knowledgeable, but thorough and takes whatever time is necessary to make her patient comfortable and at ease.  My sense of her is that she is not only a top-notch clinical provider, but one with a kind, considerate and compassionate nature.
