Sara helped me build my milk supply when my baby was in the NICU, and then worked with me and my baby to establish breast feeding. She has an excellent bedside manner and is positive and encouraging. And she went above and beyond what I expected for a lactation consultant. She has a medical background/nursing degree and she was able to spot developmental delays in my son. She recommended a county program for infants and I was able to enroll him in there where he is getting great care. She spotted my early postpartum depression signs and offered me support. And she was always positive even when I wanted to give up breastfeeding (cause it can be hard!) I always left her feeling like I could do it and that kept me going. Fast forward a few months later: I’m breastfeeding and I love it. I attribute this largely to Sara and her help. You will not be disappointed if you choose to work with her.
