After waiting in a hospital gown in a cold room for over 90 minutes, the director of her clinic told me I must have missed the phone call Friday afternoon saying my 7:30 a.m. arrival time on Monday had changed, even though I made this appointment months ago. I had confirmed my appointment time 5 days prior. She insisted this was my fault. This is the same "director" of their endoscopy clinic who came in, admittedly late, to the patient prep room ranting and cussing about her own hectic morning just outside my curtain. Needless to say I complained. The doctor, running 30 minutes late from this "new" appointment time, then gave me a lecture about maintaining a "respectful doctor patient relationship" even though I've only seen this doctor a total of 5 minutes in my whole life. This is not the type of "relationship" I intend to nurture.
