All I have to say is that this woman should not be a therapist. She came across as very aggressive towards me, accused me of things because she didn't bother to listen or ask the right questions, and basically told me to not stress about things I can't control. I know you shouldn't stress about things you can't control, but telling someone that does not help them, how about teaching some coping strategies! And when I told her I suffer from anxiety, depression and I am a cutter, her response was "sometimes we get angry at ourselves" and she basically glazed over the seriousness of my problem. She was a sweetheart to my husband (who also couldn't believe what he was hearing), and told him he couldn't control or help me with my feelings. Horrible therapist, that needs to stop practicing because she left me feeling worse than if I had ever stepped into her office!
