The worst doctor and staff I ever encountered in my life. I wish there are more regulations for IVF clinics and doctors in united states. Based on my experience, they are able to get away with lot of stuff due to the monopoly they have in the market in Tampa area. The way her and entire staff treat patients is just horrible and no one deserves that kind of treatment when you are paying a premium price for services. I'm not expecting 5 star service but bare minimum treatment as a human being . The only positive experience I had with her was my first visit where she sounded knowledgeable. There were many red flags from the beginning and I chose to ignore them due to positive reviews. Wish I did not subject myself to this place and wasted over a year of my life. The only service they care in this place is overbilling patients. They do not communicate well with you. Like the previous reviews said they make you go through lot of unnecessary tests and the doctor barely even spends 5/10 minutes with you. Instead of informing you the process she asks "do you have any questions?" and the minute you can't think of any questions she walks out and end of visit. Not even once she or the staff will ask you about your well being status during entire cylce . You are left in the blind the entire time. Good F'ng luck getting hold of anyone. They have a portal and its pretty useless. They never pick up calls or respond to voicemails (other than their ART team)! ART staff are not bad and rest of them personally make sure you go through a very hard time. The front office to billing staff are just plain rude and they don't even have 1% compassion for anything you are going through. Even if this is the ONLY CLINIC (REPRODUCTIVE MEDICINE GROUP) that is covered as part of your network, please do not subject yourself to them. You will lose years of your time due to poor communication issues. They collect payments upfront, months in advance and still overbill you. The staff or the doctor doesn't care to expedite anything even though they know you might be missing months in the process due to their office inefficiencies. PATIENT FIRST IS NOT THEIR PRIORITY ONLY MONEY IS! This doctor might have been good once in the day but not ANYMORE ! IT IS POSSIBLE TO SPEND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS AT THIS PLACE AND GET NO POSITIVE RESULTS. THEY DO NOT ADJUST PROTOCOL FOR YOU AND YOU ARE JUST A SHEEP IN THE IVF BUSINESS. I GOT NOTHING POSITIVE FROM HERE.
From the staff to the doctor they are less than average. Wish they are not in network with my insurance. I think the only time sandra was good was the initial consult to get you through the door. After that its becomes a slow horror story. The office staff is super rude, and billing is the worst very close to fradulent. They make you pay upfront months advanced for procedures. They do not claim this with insurnace as services have to be rendered and they will be guestimating lot of charges and keeping all the money with them. They are super slow and cost you months in the process. Technology inside is very outdated, none of scans are digital. Doctor keeps asking you if you any questions instead of explains pros and cons. No one at any point good or bad discusses your results with you. Doctors orders lot of non relevant tests and refuses to review your chart even when relevant results are available. Nurses can't even do simple blood draws without butchering your arms. Only one nurses is nice and ART team is decent.
I wish I give Dr. Goodman zero stars. I'll start with the worst first... Dr. Goodman strongly advised me to do a saline test because she suspected an abnormality in my uterus (looking back I should have started questioning her there because I have had numerous ultrasounds with other physicians and they never noted anything). During the saline ultrasound, she said she saw a polyp and a septum, both of which she advised would need to removed during an operative hysteroscopy to avoid miscarriage. At that time, she also advised me that she would like to do a operative laparoscopy to remove endometriosis (which she had never even mentioned to me previously). She also wanted to attempt to open my right fallopian tube during the laparoscopy, which she said was blocked during an HSG test. I will skip many of the details for space here and just say that I eventually sought the opinion of another doctor. The new doctor immediately ordered an MRI, which showed NO SEPTUM, not even a heart-shaped uterus. I had specifically asked Dr. Goodman how long the septum was and she looked into my file (which she would never show me, along with most of my other results) and said "it's about a third of your uterus." Just to make sure, and to confirm the polyp that Dr. Goodman said I had, the new doctor did a diagnostic (not operative) hysteroscopy. There was NO POLYP, NO SEPTUM, and my right tube was NOT BLOCKED (the new doctor redid the dye test at the same time). I'm not sure what Dr. Goodman was planning to do when she took me into the OR and had me put under - cut apart my normally shaped uterus and unclog my already not clogged tube (which has risks of puncturing the uterus or causing tubal pregnancy). I've lost count of how many thousands of dollars and how many tears I've lost during my treatment with Dr. Goodman. All I can hope now is that someone reads this review and decides to save themselves from this awful doctor.
