Dr. Samuel Romirowsky, PH.D.

Just in it for the $$$ and the money is BIG.  He is not interested in you or your children.  He is interested in referrals.  His bread and butter is finding for the husband.  In my case, he warned me in the office that my ex-husband and his new wife were on an all out campaign to turn my children against me.  He said my ex suffers from delusions of persecution and paranoia.  NONE of that appeared in his evaluation which absolutely slammed me.  I later found out that my ex, a financial planner, had made a side deal with him to funnel clients to him (because when people plan to divorce, they often call their financial planner...he offered to give him the inside scoop, and he accepted).  He did not disclose this arrangement during the proceedings.  He is totally unethical.  If you are the mom, DO NOT agree to allow him to evaluate your case.  Find ANYONE else.  Ultimately, my ex turned my daughter against me, she ran away, and now is an emotional mess.  Dr. R saw all of this coming and still recommended her father for custody because of their "deal."  DISGUSTING!  He destroyed our lives.  I'm sure most of the 5 star ratings are from men.

My fear of using a custody evaluator was they'd recommend 50/50 no matter what the circumstances or tend to show preference towards the child's mother etc.  Dr. Romirowsky was 100% fair, but ultimately made the recommendation to the court that I was fearful that I would not be able to get support for, but very strongly believe was best for my son (he's doing way better already!).  There's no close second, dollar for dollar the best money I've ever spent :) !  Very very grateful to have been referred to Dr. Romirowsky!
