To clarify, Dr. Kamal could not access my medical records because the computers crashed after I checked in for my appointment. She did her best based on past known history. She ordered lab tests and followed up with recommendations based on the lab results. She notified me via the Providence messaging system. Dr. Kamal has provided excellent care since the sudden renal and cardiac problems I encountered ten months ago. She has listened to my concerns and made the appropriate referrals to specialists. The referrals provided the correct medical treatments and interventions to restore my health. I felt that I had serious medical problems. Dr. Kamal listened to my concerns. Jointly, we made the correct decisions in regard to how to proceed... I am fortunate in that I'm able to receive the proper health care at Providence. I'm very pleased with all the providers in charge of my health care and medical needs. Thank you.

Doctor Kamal and her staff try very hard to meet my medical needs. They are not perfect but they do the very best that they can. I would like my visits to be more often and closer together because the timing on each visit is limited and sometimes there is a lot to go over. However, Dr. Kamal tries her best to answer all of my questions and to provide as much information that she can in the limited time that is scheduled. She kind and professional and her staff is also helpful. I trust her advice and appreciate her willingness as a doctor to answer my questions and to provide quality health care. I am pleased with the work that she does for me so far. I am going to continue to request her expertise as my assigned doctor and to continue with her services. I am grateful for Dr. Kamal and all of her staff. Thank you!

First visit and introduction to Dr. Kamal. She was very friendly and had reviewed my past medical records and prescriptions since I was a new patient. Dr. Kamal was excellent about explaining any procedures, offering helpful advice and promptly followed up with a personal call to me re my blood work. She also promptly connected me with a genealogist to possibly get tested for the BRCA breast cancer gene, given my family history. In addition, she advised a few additional blood & urine tests to be conducted soon with further tests in 3 months. She arranged for the upcoming tests, so I just need to go to the lab at Kendall Yards, which is very convenient. I am very impressed and pleased with Dr. Kamal and look forward to continuing under her care as my primary physician.

I've had Dr. Kamal as my doctor for almost 5 years now. I appreciate that she always takes my concerns seriously and never makes me feel bad or ridiculous for wanting to run tests (due to my complicated medical history and several chronic illnesses). She knows my medical history very well and takes the time to think through my treatment plan and will include my other specialists if needed. Dr. Kamal is a compassionate doctor who makes me feel well cared for and heard. As the years go by, and my medical trauma accumulates, she continues to be patient and understanding of my situation. I'm truly grateful for all she has done for me and hope she will continue on my care team for years to come.

Dr Kamal seems to say we have talked about certain topics in her visit notes that truly were not discussed or addressed at my person to person appt. Dr Kamal is great for the most part but can be very "harsh" when sending msg thru My Chart. Say's "I told the patient this or that" When she didn't at all. I have started bringing extra family so I do not mistake what information she goes over. If we discuss a topic I think it should be in her visit notes & it isn't always the case. If I question her about it thru My Chart she is defensive & harsh in her response. All in all Dr Kamal is good at managing her time, making referrals when necessary, she professional & caring.

I've been navigating the menopause/perimenopause transition and have seen two doctors about it. The medical community as a whole needs to do a better job educating providers and caring for women in this stage of life. Especially concerning the safety and efficacy of hormone replacement therapy. I trust my provider and she did a good job getting me the treatment I needed but there needs to be a concerted effort starting in med school to educate future medical providers on this life changing beneficial treatment. I am thrilled to have Dr. Kamal as my PCP. She listened to all my concerns and readily addressed them. I have tests scheduled and a follow-up appointment with her in 6 weeks. I am also thankful for her quick response to me when I email her on My Chart. She explained why a few of my labs were abnormal and I really appreciate that. My care with Dr Kamal and her team is very excellent. Friendly, professional and thorough. It is somewhat difficult to get in to see her or her PA. Over the past year when I've called in, there have been 4 times I've been referred to go to an urgent care facility. I understand they are busy but it is important to have continuity of care. I understand Dr Kamal might not be able to see me but In past years I could always get in to see a PA.
