Prof. Sam Wise, MDS, MSC, DDS, MOM

Dr. Wise is an exceptional dentist with extensive knowledge and skills. He was able to diagnose and treat my girlfriend’s ear and headache issues in just two minutes, and she has been pain-free ever since. I was amazed when he gave her shots in the side of her eye and neck, and her pain disappeared almost instantly. When I asked him how he was able to do this while all other dentists were guessing, he explained that he had studied medical school as part of his dental training as a German graduate, which is not common among American graduates. He has three masters degrees and triple board certified. Unfortunately, he comes to this office in Plano TX only one day a month. I will follow him wherever her goes.

Emergency dentistry is like buying a car after an accident ! It’s a necessity and negotiations are limited to say the least. With that said Dr Wise facilitated ALL needs, in a cost effective professional manner. Thank you for your care, concern, bedside manner, professionalism and integrity! The greatest compliment is I don’t do social media and never have, so to leave a review much less my fist ever, priceless 

Dr. Wise runs his practice with the utmost professionalism. A triple specialist, he brings to the table a type of expertise that most dentists, frankly, have not attained, which is particularly important in complex cases like mine. The staff is always very helpful and courteous and goes out of their way to provide the patient with as pleasant and comfortable a visit as possible. So, thank you. It’s very much appreciated.

My husband has to undergo a complete reconstruction and major surgeries of all new teeth since the few he had left were done!  dr. Wise at his office -in Texas ( I know he has another office in Washington)- and his staff got him through the extensive process with a thorough explanation of what he was in for getting a mouthful of implants, and much assistance to keep him as comfortable as possible. He did all surgeries and the provisional in one visit. My husband went to work the next day like nothing happened. Dr. Wise is amazing. My nephew got his wisdom tooth pulled at another office. Pulling one wisdom tooth took as long time as the full mouth implant done by Dr. Wise with one difference. My nephew had swelling and excruciating pain for a month. With Dr. Wise, my husband didn't take more than a couple of tablets of Tylenol!! No pain, no swelling whatsoever. Dr. Wise's fee was a fraction of what other dentists in the area asked for and he provided 0 interest finance! What I loved about Dr. Wise was that he was very honest. Unlike the other dentists who were trying to sell us the most expensive treatment, Dr. Wise was trying to minimize the cost. The reconstruction of his smile is pure artistry and my husband and I could not be happier with the end result after a long haul. We highly recommend Dr. Wise and his entire practice for all your cosmetic dentistry needs. 

I was given 20 medications for my migraine. Dr. Sam Wise told me I never had a migraine. I have a "Cluster headache"! He gave me one injection at the back of my head and the headache vanished for the first time in years. I tossed all my medications now. He asked me to google "Greater occipital nerve block" and I found it exactly how he described it. I bet no other dentist would ever have that knowledge. I'm pain-free for the first time. Amazing. I have no words to describe Dr. Wise. He's the most knowledgeable doctor I've ever seen.

Prof.Sam Wise is extremely knowledgeable and caring. His visit changed my life for good. I had chronic jaw pain that was not healing for decades. I was referred to Dr.Wise by my dentist since Dr.Wise was the only TMJ/Sleep apnea specialist in the area. Astonishly, he is an oral surgeon and implantologist too. I learned that he was triple BOARD certified from Germany and the USA. He did a Root cause analysis and discovered the TMJ issue as well as other issues that I'd been ignoring thinking that chronic migraine and lower back pain was inevitable. He suggested that a combination of chronic inflammation, crooked bite, depression, medications, diet, sleep disorders, arthritis, nasal congestion and TMJ were making my life miserable. I was amazed at him out of the box thinking and deep understanding of medicine as well as dentistry. My pain level and quality of sleep have improved significantly during the course of treatment started just before COVID. Thanks to dr.Wise, it has been a year since I had the last episode of excruciating pain. He gave me a second chance of good life. The staff at his office are also amazing and have been supportive every time I visit. I strongly recommend Prof.Wise at the TMJ and Sleep Therapy Center for any relevant TMJ or sleep related issues. He takes dentistry to a different level. Surprisingly, his fees are less than any dentist in the area. He even accepts state insurance.

Cowlitz county is so lucky having Dr. Sam Wise and I was so lucky to find this place! I walked in with intense neck and back pain due to my TMJ. I really had no idea what to expect but after they made me a mouth piece that held my jaw in place the pain I had to live with for 10 years was completely gone! 
The migraine I had for 13 years turned out to be misdiagnosed. The nonstop ear ringing vanished after Dr. wise treated my TMJ. I can’t even say how much this has improved my quality of life. Everyone in their office is sweet as can be. I always leave happy and grateful. A true blessing.

I don't usually leave reviews. Prof. Sam Wise is a very personable person and the best doctor I have ever encountered. He truly cares about his patients and would work with you to make the best treatment plan. He treats you holistically and thinks outside the box.  He genuinely wants his patients to get better unlike others who care only about your wallet. He treats not just dental problems but he treated me like a person. I never feel rushed because he takes his time. 
I've had TMJ since I was a teen and have suffered even more over the past few years (root canals, implants and bone grafts). I went to see Dr. Wise in last fall. He listened to my years of issues, did a physical exam and then took the time to review all the possible treatments to the three main problems he diagnosed.  I got the impression that all the previous treatments were unnecessary like all other dentists were completely ignorance. He applied his patent "Wise appliance" an did multiple trigger point injections and some physical therapy have given me more help than I've had in my lifetime of TMJ. I still have work to do but I can't say enough positive things about him. If you have any discomfort due to TMJ or headache, don't hesitate to make your appointment with Dr. Wise right now. I honestly wish there were more doctors like him.

I had the works! Full extraction, 10 implants and walked out the same day with my temporary set. Dr Sam Wise and the entire staff at Lower Columbia Oral Health are professionals at the very top of their field. Five stars hardly seems appropriate for the  exceptional restoration work they performed for me. Prof. Wise indeed!

This was by far the best dental experience I have ever had. Dr. Wise, and his amazing staff were professional and attentive during my procedure. You can definitely tell that everyone there enjoys their job, and helping people. Check them out if you want to be treated like a person, and not just another appointment.

Dr. Wise is phenomenal and very friendly. Every dentist I met before told me I needed a night-guard to stop grinding teeth at night. Dr. Wise told me the reason behind grinding was sleep apnea and the night-guard was not the solution!! I sounded crazy, but he said that my cardiac issue, the high blood pressure, diabetes, and the heart-burning is because of Sleep Apnea. I did the sleep test and my diagnosis was moderate to severe sleep apnea and I was assigned to Dr. Wise to receive a dental appliance. Dr. Wise and staff answered all questions I had and have been VERY professional every visit. Even though this place is almost one hour away from where I live, no complaints at all and worth the drive (Only one assignable with my insurance). Overall excellent customer service and would highly recommend to all. I no longer use a CPAP machine and the dental appliance I received has been awesome. Now, I was told Dr. Wise is bringing in a new technology that uses LASER to treat sleep apnea and eliminate snoring in ten minutes once and forever. I cannot wait to try it. Alas, no insurance covers it so far. The office keeps in touch with me for follow-ups and ensures I am well taken care of. THANK YOU!!!

My experience with prof. Wise was extremely good. No pain or problems with my extractions. He goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you understand what you should do with your teeth and mouth so you do not have future health risks. I found him to be very professional and truly caring about your oral health.
He takes time to explain all the procedures. He explains all the pros and cons of the treatment so that I can make an independent  judgment. His staff is also extremely helpful. Prof.Wise has a great rapport with his assistant and hygienist and they work very well together.

Dr. Wise is a magician and beyond critics. He pulled four wisdoms of my cousin in one move. She didn't even feel the shot. She did not swell and she didn't use even Tylenol. My dentist took one hour and twenty minutes pulling one wisdom tooth breaking it part by part using chisel and mallet. I still have jaw pain since then. My face was like a balloon and he gave me tons of narcotics.
I highly recommend Dr. Wise.

The best dentist ever. I Drive 50 miles to see Dr. Wise. Haven't seen a dentist with three master degrees before. Once I tried, i appreciated the difference. Dr. Wise is a phenomenal dentist and oral surgeon. No doubt.

Dr. Wise is "Phenomenal" - 10 Stars! Dr. Wise listened to my concerns about my daughter, he was professional to address everything, and put us at ease about removing 4 wisdom teeth. He's not in a rush and quite pleasant to converse with. The office staff is thorough and positive. Every time I called, they were helpful and I never felt as though I put them out. The best part...with the number of days we had left before our trip to Europe, (including healing time), I communicated my desire to try to get this surgery done and they were able to accommodate my daughter within days. With sedation, she felt nothing and she remembered nothing at all. That's service! Also...they have many Flowers for the valentines day. Everyone there appears to love their job!

My experience with Dr. Wise was extremely positive.
Dr. Wise removed the four impacted wisdom teeth for my granddaughter in half an hour. The second day she went to college like nothing had happened other than a small swelling barely noticeable. A couple of months ago, I was with another granddaughter doing the same procedure in another office in Longview. the dentist took two hours and left her in severe pain for two weeks. When I asked Dr. Wise how he did the four surgeries in half an hour while it took the other doctor two hours, he said that dentist was probable a general dentist not a surgeon.
Dr. Wise was very humble and straightforward. I wonder why some believed rumors said by disgruntled employees over the past two weeks.
Dr. Wise is very talented. My granddaughter who was dentophobic and has autism said that she never felt the injection he gave her.

Dr. Haghighi did one implant to replace my front tooth five years ago. I still remember the excruciating pain i went through for two months nonstop. He had to remove the implant and replace bone graft and I had to go through the same pain again.
My sister, however, did three implants at once with Dr. Wise and she had no pain whatsoever. She went to work the second day as if nothing had happened. Not only that, my implant done by Dr. Haghighi is ugly and bothersome. I have to floss every hour and the gum keeps bleeding. My sister told me that Dr. Wise told her that he used Swiss made implants, which were top of the line. I guess mine were the worst. However, his assistant said that the Swiss implants that Dr. Wise used cost him four times more than the implants used by Dr. H, and it came at no extra cost on my sister.
I'm waiting for my sister to get crowns over her implants to see how they would look like.
