I started a new job in January and was required to change my primary care physician because of my new health insurance coverage, through Aetna. After browsing my local providers on their site, I settled on Dr. Golshani because of the great reviews I read here. Being in great health, I don't require much care besides an annual check up, so I wasn't too concerned about my choice of provider. Wish I did more research, however! I wound up not even getting a physical check-up, but an over-the-phone one, and then I asked her offices to call in a new birth control prescription to CVS for me, and a couple of months later I get a bill back for $550! For a phone call. Aetna only paid around $350 of that, so it was up to me to then pay the remaining $200. And for what? I didn't receive ANY care. Just answered a few questions on the phone and gave her my existing prescription so her offices could transfer it over. A RIP OFF. And when I tried to call and get answers about what they were charging for, they never called or emailed back and I'm pretty much left dealing with the dispute with Aetna directly. Take my advice and AVOID THIS PROVIDER and find yourself a new one if you don't want to be stuck with exorbitant fees for nothing.
