Dr. Roberta L. Pickett, MD

If your baby/child is a "normal" baby/child with not much health issues, then Dr. Pickett would be a great doctor for you because she's nice and can listen well. I like the fact that she always washes her hands before touching the kiddos. However, if you have a baby/child with health concerns, she's not the best. She's very conservative in her approach, and not pro-active in her diagnosis and treatments. It's even hard to get referrals from her. Or if she does the referrals, which can be a couple of weeks later, it's for a provider/doctor that you may not need or may not need to see first. Her clinic assistant (LVN or MA) also never does hand hygiene before touching the kiddos, at least I haven't seen her do so. As they say, if it's not done in front of you, there's a high chance that they never did it (hand washing or hand sanitizer). Oh, and there's one older lady (late 50's to 60's?) who works in the front office, she just seems like she hates people and hates being there. Not the most welcoming and friendly lady.
