After moving here I finally found an Obgyn that had great reviews. I both had to go for some concerning health conditions and my annuals. The visit was quick and easy and the Nurse Practitioner that saw me was very kind. 

Afterwards I was ordered to get a mammogram. It was difficult to schedule cause no one could see me for weeks out. I found a facility that could take me that I’ve visited before; however they had to call my provider to confirm some information. The Nurse Practitioner called me afterwards, to inform me to check with my insurance to clarify some coverages. 

Once on the phone with insurance they had to get some codes from the provider to verify. (I’m now on hour 3 of trying to schedule an appointment). 

The Insurance rep calls the provider and the woman (Susan A.) was being so difficult and combative that the ins rep put us on a three way call. 

I clarified what was needed as request by their office. Instead of giving us a few 4 digit codes Susan (provider receptionist) Argued and berated me. She pull the phone away from her mouth to speak to another person and say “this is ridiculous” under her breath. She returned to the phone continued to argue with both of us to the point I broke down and started crying, “I don’t want to do this. I’m just doing what I was told.” 

She came back to say she googled the codes read them off quickly and hung up the phone with so much as a “good bye” or “do you need help with anything else?”

The ins provider after confirm coverage apologize for my experience. I do not think I’ll be able to continue going here. 

Everyone working in a healthcare facility from the doctors, to the receptionist, to the delivery person should treat everyone kindly and with sensitivity; as you do not know what they’re going through or how scary it may be.susan behavior was unnecessary and unprofessional and an extremely bad representation of their practice as everyone up to that point was wonderful.
