I corresponded with Richard over 3 months as he was interested in my healing modality to integrate into his acupuncture treatments. I emphasized the importance of acupuncture in treatment of mental health compared to allopathic medicine, and he shared some suggestions, such as mantras. He had agreed to cost share for several training materials, and I delivered the seminars to him. He then tried to push conversations in a romantic and flirtatious direction when I suggested that we discuss collaborations in person at a local wellness center, and then blocked me to evade paying for the training materials. Richard lacks purity of intention and integrity, which are foundations of being a healer and "shaman."
