Their website says "We inform our patients about exam and treatment costs before your appointment." however, that was far from the truth with my visit. I was never told of any charges up front. I knew my plan covered the exam at 100%. At check out I was told they would put me as a cash pay patient since it would be cheaper than running it through my insurance. I said my insurance covers the exam. They said it doesn't cover everything. Fine, paid $152. Went to file with my insurance and they said THEY should have filed. Aetna even called their office to ask why they didn't file and informed them that visit would've been covered at 100%. They told them they didn't see any benefits when they checked. Different story from what they told me. I also called to question my prescription as there is zero strength on one eye, and a low strength on the other. The eye I expected to have the low strength was listed as PLANO (no strength). Instead of offering to double check this, I was told that's what it is.
