Dr. Nkeiruka Banda, DO

Dr. Banda always treats me with respect and listens to all of my concerns. I was really nervous about finding the right PCP when I moved to Seattle from Oregon a couple years ago, especially since I have ADHD and take controlled substances to treat it. I've heard horror stories from other friends and families about accessing health care, but it's easy at Swedish. Dr. Banda listens to me - it's such a little thing to say, but such a hard thing to do. I can't express how relieving it is to know I have a doctor who listens to the routine things - it means I know she will listen and take me seriously if something wrong comes up. Thank you, Dr. Banda! Please show her this and tell her she is an amazing doctor.

Dr. Banda is one of the greatest (if not the greatest) doctors I have ever had. As an out of state college student, I was nervous about having to find a doctor by myself who could meet all my needs, one of them being management for ADHD. When my provider in another state could no longer care for me, Dr. Banda was there. She treats me with compassion, respect, answers my many questions, and is very approachable to discuss a variety of health issues from GYN to mental health. The MAs at Queen Anne are excellent as well and always so nice. I always leave feeling listened to and satisfied with my care.

Dr. Banda is an amazing professional. I am really impressed with the level of care and respect she has for her patients. I feel truly heard and she always gets my questions and concerns addressed and answered. Thanks to her, I am no longer in the pre-diabetes threshold, which is something that scares me to think about, because I have an extensive history of diabetes in family. She's truly amazing!

Dr. Banda consistently listens to me and answers my questions confidently and clearly. Consequently, I feel comfortable asking for clarification and other questions as they arise. Since her recent change of medications, I have experienced some relief of the peripheral neuropathy. This has given me hope that I will eventually experience a significantly improved quality of life.

My appointment with Dr Banda was possibly one of the best doctor appointments I've ever had. Certainly the best since Dr Wise was my primary. Dr Banda was warm, informed, attentive and respectful. Since our appointment, I've shared with many friends how fantastic it was. It's not common to walk away from a doctor interaction today and feel this way. Dr Banda is excellent.

Dr. Banda was professional and kind. She listened to my concerns and gave me feedback and advice that I needed to hear, not just what I expected/wanted to hear, which seems like a really important part of primary care, and honestly really helped me. I really appreciate it and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great pcp.

Dr. Banda is wonderful. She is kind, warm, informative, caring, listens and is assuring. She swiftly provides your diagnosis and checks in to make sure I understand next steps. For me my healthcare starts at the front desk. Everyone I encounter from scheduling to my dr makes me feel so special and very taken care of. Dr Banda is so lovely and I immediately felt my blood pressure lower. Her kindness and empathy made a really stressful appointment so much better. Thank you all!!!

This is the first time I have ever received care where the provider did not assume my partner with male pronouns has male sex organs. That was really cool and appreciated. I also appreciated the politeness and care exercised during my gynecological exam.

Swedish has always been kind, considerate and very good at communicating. From the front desk to the nurses, techs and doctors, everyone has always been friendly and always happy to answer questions or clarify an answer.
