I saw Dr. Higgins for a number of months to treat PTSD; anxiety and the conditions related. Her approach was more of a friend than heath care professional but I didn’t mind. Upon going into the holiday season I informed Dr. Higgins that I was going through a seasonal depression and missed a couple appointment, I paid the fee without complaining and thought I would receive understanding as I had developed a standing weekly schedule and previously had no issues. Dr. Higgins has since canceled every appointment without explanation and has pretty much abandoned her patient. I take accountability but for someone in this line of work you’d expect more empathy.
