Dr. Pierpaolo Preceruti, MD, MDS, DDS

I saw Dr. Preceruti for a consult for an apicoectomy for an infection to 2 old root canals (as recommended by my endodontist). He has the worst people skills I’ve ever encountered. He was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I’m someone who wants to be completely informed about my health. He recommended fully extracting both teeth and I had to ask him to explain why. He wasn’t going to tell me. I realized that he perceived my questions about his recommendations as me challenging him. When I asked for a second opinion, he goes “good luck finding another surgeon with a different opinion” and snickered. It was humiliating. He’s also completely insensitive. He kept saying “you’re going to be in a LOT of pain after the surgery”. I mentioned something about paid medications and he goes “Well I don’t prescribe narcotics” I DIDN’T EVEN SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NARCOTICS. So yeah, needless to the say that I will never be going back to him. There are a lot of similar reviews to mine on the internet about him. Stay away from this surgeon.
