Patricia Brady, MS (Patricia Brady Ciarcia), was the Parenting Coordinator for my family during our divorce. Pat Brady’s behavior as parenting coordinator was- in my experience and opinion- biased. Ms Brady, in my opinion, did not act in the best interests of my children rather she acted in the best interests of their father. She violated our signed parenting agreement multiple times. Patricia Brady acted, in my opinion, without justice or good judgment. I filed a complaint with the Division of Professional Licensure against her in 2015 with the help of my attorney. Unfortunately Patricia Brady is licensed by the Board of Allied Mental Health and Human Services Professions rather than with the Board of Social Workers. The standards for ethical conduct for Allied Mental Health Professionals are much looser and less clearly defined than those for the Board of Social Workers. I strongly recommend that you choose your parenting Coordinator very carefully as their actions can affect the well being of you and your children for years. I strongly recommend against hiring Patricia Brady, M.S. as a parenting Coordinator or in any other capacity involving child custody issues. I was very fortunate to be able to negotiate the termination of Pat Brady’s contract with the signing of our divorce agreement. It is extremely hard to remove a parent coordinator once they have been signed on because both parents need to agree to a parenting coordinators removal.
