Dr. Parissa Salemi, DO

My son had abnormal thyroid results during his physical, and his doctor did not explain what the problem was and referred us. We were on pins and needles. She was able to explain what the test meant and why he is okay. I wish every doctor is like Dr. Salemi! 

Dr. Salemi was patient, caring and very helpful explaining everything.

We spent a year seeing several other doctors to figure out what was causing all of my son's medical issues, and we got no answers until Dr. Salemi diagnosed a rare genetic condition.  We've been seeing her regularly for almost a year, and she's always been very helpful and knowledgeable. 

My daughter is generally nervous about going to doctors- but Dr. Salemi was so kind, patient and sensitive with her that my daughter is looking forward to going back for her return visit! We are so thankful to have found such a smart and KIND doctor.  I would recommend highly! 

This endocrinologist is presently treating my daughter, who's only 15 years old.  Although, physically and mentally she seems to be much older, you as a "professional" should always keep in mind she's still a child.  At my daughter's last appointment with Dr. Parissa Salemi, the doctor was so harsh in the manner she spoke to her, that she left the office crying.  Also, the visit was very rushed, with no empathy or much less taking the time to explain the new medication she prescribed.  On the contrary, she just handed her the prescription and told her take one daily, I have another patient waiting. Totally rude, unprofessional and AWFUL bedside manner coming from a "doctor".  Needless to say, I'm in search of another doctor.  Everyone should take the time to write reviews, they are very helpful when it comes time of choosing the right professional.
