July 2021- My cervical (neck) MRI showed moderate to severe spinal cord compression from C3 to T3 anterior(front) and posterior (back). Dr. Adogwa performed an INCOMPLETE surgery!!!! He only performed a Laminoplasty posterior C3-C6. Postoperatively, I continued to deteriorate neurologically over 4 months. My bilateral hands/fingers were losing motor skills and having numbness/weakness. My left leg had increasing weakness, spasms and spasticity (knee jerks). There were more symptoms I will omit to make this short. I was barely able to walk with a walker and was mostly wheelchair-bound. So, I obtained a second opinion. I was told that my original surgery was incomplete and that I required a 360 FUSION laminectomy C3-T3. After this surgery, I had some physical returns, but unfortunately the significant cervical spinal cord damage was already done from neglect. I am mostly confined to a wheelchair and am able to walk short distances with a walker. I’m unable to work any in any capacity since I have severe loss of fine motor (finger)skills and have severe constant spasms to my entire torso and left leg. I continue to suffer tremendously !!!!!!
