I would like to share my experience with my son Martín's pediatrician. She is a very competent professional who knows her field well, which is essential for our children's health. However, I have noticed that her approach is quite direct, and sometimes she lacks a bit of tact.

We understand that her time is limited and she has many patients, but we would appreciate a little more empathy in her interactions. This would not only help parents feel more comfortable but could also benefit the children during their visits.

I’m writing to express my extreme disappointment with the level of care provided by Dr. Neena Yoyakey. My recent experience has left me feeling neglected and used solely for financial gain.
I initially booked an appointment for what was supposed to be an annual check-up. During this visit, I expected a comprehensive examination of my health. However, to my dismay, the doctor showed minimal interest in my well-being. The assistant quickly took my vitals, and the doctor made only a cursory inquiry about my health.
To add insult to injury, it turns out that the actual annual check-up covered by my insurance required a separate appointment. This was a blatant oversight on the part of the provider's office, resulting in an unnecessary financial burden for me given the hefty fee of $186 I paid for the initial visit.
During my subsequent visit for the actual annual check-up, I was stunned by the lack of thoroughness. The doctor's examination consisted of nothing more than listening to my heartbeat and checking my thyroid glands. I wasn’t even asked to undress for a proper evaluation of my body's condition.
What was most alarming, however, was the complete disregard for a concerning issue I brought up. I mentioned a loss of sensitivity in my leg, a matter that should’ve been taken seriously. Instead, I was told to schedule another appointment, in order to address a problem that should have been part of the initial examination.
It’s clear that Dr. Yoyakey prioritizes monetary gains over the well-being of their patients. This experience has left me feeling like nothing more than a source of revenue for the practice. It’s disheartening to encounter a healthcare professional who shows such a lack of empathy and genuine concern.
I implore anyone seeking quality healthcare to look elsewhere. Dr. Yoyakey has demonstrated a distressing lack of dedication to their patient's health and a blatant disregard for providing comprehensive care. Your health deserves better than this careless and money-driven approach
