I am not upset about his service specifically. It is more about Derby Modern Dentistry. The person who does insurance was not easy to work with. She said my plan only covered xyz at a certain amount and the information she had was not correct. I even sent them my benefit summary. I paid for 1 service that I should not have had to and I think the other procedure I paid more than I should. They had other procedures incorrectly priced on my plan of care as well. She did not want to call my insurance or talk to them when I had them on the phone. The office has some calls blocked so my insurance representative could not get through the phones, it gave them an error about spam calls being blocked. I did let them know and they blew it off as something else. Her attitude made me feel like I was an imposition and being rude because I didn't take what she said as the truth. Like how dare I question it. They did say they would reimburse me if my insurance paid them but paying for that stuff because they wouldn't check with my insurance like they are supposed to do is really hard financially. Especially when it takes awhile for insurance to come through once a claim is filed so it is months before I may get any money back. I am mostly upset about the attitude and not being able to get them to check and fix their amount I would owe on things. I have never had so many issues before. Normally whoever does the insurance is happy to call and check or verify online and not just say this is what they pay automatically. It even says the amounts on my ID card. I will not be going back and I will not be going to Village Dentistry as they are a connected office.
