The doctor was pretty thorough in providing feedback regarding the expectations for testing that would be performed and final results. He was open to questions that my husband and I asked during our tele-conference calls. The staff that we interacted with were all very patient and kind. The tests were not always the most comfortable but they attempted to mentally prepare you in advance so there were realistic expectations throughout the test and would talk to you while they were performing each step so nothing was a surprise. Unfortunately the major turn off I experienced with this doctor was that I felt I was judged more on my weight than my health and test results. I was told that all my results came back normal and healthy but the doctor made sure to call out how surprised he was that my sugar levels were normal considering my size (I am larger but not completely obese). He informed us that until I lost a certain amount of weight, they would not assist us any further and that it was the primary reason that we were not having success getting pregnant. I understand that weight is a factor to consider, but it definitely came across as the primary focus of the conversations that occurred. I've always been a bigger person so to constantly have it pointed out and blamed does not leave the best feeling walking away from a doctors appointment/conversation.
