Dr. Ahmed diagnosed my son with ADHD without once speaking to him, or particularly glancing in his direction, based on only one of three Vanderbilt surveys I brought in. She never spoke to him. He sat and read patiently while she called him "unmanageable" without medication, dismissed my request that we discuss self-coping mechanisms, and finally referred us to a chiropractor who doesn't accept insurance. She refused to treat him (or me, as his mother) with a basic modicum of respect or human dignity, insisting that he needed to be heavily medicated to be able to cope. We won't be back.
