I have seen Dr. Ahmed for several years now as my primary care doctor. He takes as much time as necessary to diagnose you correctly and will not stop until he figures out the issue. He has recommended excellent specialists to me and I truly appreciate his care. He does talk a little fast, so sometimes I have to slow him down to understand him, and I reccommend you do the same if you decide to go and do not understand something. He will take the time to slow down and explain things in terms that make sense which I truly appreciate.

Horrible Doctor. Like another reviewer, I selected this doctor based on the 5 star rating. That rating is false. My insurance no longer accepts my previous family doctor. I am diabetic. I scheduled an appointment specifically stating I needed lab work for diabetes and that I had severe bronchitis in January of 2017 and still had a lingering cough. When I was seen, they stated my blood pressure was extremely high but never would give me the numbers. As a prior dental assistant, I am fully aware that you never recheck blood pressure on the same arm immediately after a reading. They kept testing my blood pressure over and over again with zero time in between. At one point, the cuff even popped off of my arm because it was so tight. When the doctor spoke to me, he was rude, did not listen to anything I had to say about my past seeing that this might be important since this was my first visit with him. He asked me stupid questions and then would basically respond to me with "huh". How unprofessional. My adult daughter was in the room with me and she kept whispering in my ear to just walk out since she also felt he was being unbelievably rude. I had to remind him that I was there for an issue with my cough/chest. I left with an order to have chest x-rays, no insulin prescription and a feeling of not receiving competent care. I had the x-rays done, which were normal, and I purchased a blood pressure meter, which showed normal readings. I have also scheduled an appointment with a traditional chinese medicine doctor who I have seen in the past. I am pretty confident that she will clear my cough. I would have seen her for my insulin, but she cannot write prescriptions for that. Too bad I am forced to see western medicine doctors because if this doctor is what is considered 5 star, I hate to see what the other doctors with lower ratings are like. If I did not have to take insulin, I'd never visit a doctor's office again. Horrible man. Do yourself a favor - go anywhere else but here. The only reason for the one star is that the lady who takes your blood and the office staff are wonderful people. They are the only good thing about this practice. One other thing. Before the doctor actually entered my room for the exam, he just walked into the room and grabbed equipment he needed for another examination in another room. He never knocked before entering and he just walked in, grabbed his equipment and then walked right out. Not a single word. I find this really disrespectful and nothing like any other doctor's behavior that I have seen in my lifetime.

I chose Dr. Ahmed off of my insurance providers website due to the 64-5 Star reviews. I called to make an appointment for a physical and to get some specific shots for a work trip to India. I told them the specific shots I needed at the time I called to make the appointment. The office staff was fast and friendly when I arrived for my appointment. When I got to see Dr. Ahmed he informed that they do not have those shots on site and that I had to go to another clinic 30 minutes away to get the shots. He then listened to my heart and lungs and asked me to follow him. We walk up to the front desk and he stated that "these ladies will help you schedule your physical for next week" and walked off. I specifically stated when I made the appointment the exact shots I needed and that I wanted a phyisical but got neither. One of the ladies up front even said "well it works out great since the the phlebotomist isn't here today". Why would you schedule someone for a physical when you have to draw blood on day when the phlebotomist is off? I was truly disappointed in the service I received.
