Overall DISAPPOINTED with Michael (Ryan) Sosman. I had just this one counseling session, and while he's encouraging me to speak about what's troubling me, he's also looking at his cell phone at apparent texts coming in. He asks me to continue and says "go ahead, I'm listening" he looks at his cell phone maybe 3 times in a 10 minute period, "while listening" to me. I continue on, but I'm NOT impressed. What a lousy first impression. That's the biggest gripe - LESS Than professional as he offered no extreme excuse (no excuse at all) such as "this is some emergency". If it was an emergency I would have understood. This is plain RUDE and he should know his negative actions WILL be interpreted as such from people that are there wanting personalized attention. Secondly, when I tried to re-book a 2nd appointment one month later, he advised me that he was leaving the organization (Agape Counseling) and starting his own practice. I'm sure he knew that the prior month when he saw me.
