Dr. Michael Patrick Leung, MD, FACOG

Usually this doctor goes in and out which is good, if you do not have any questions high risk patient. He made me feel as if he was always in a hurry and told me "You don't need this or that" without even checking my chart as to what I needed. He has been my OB 2x and my dumb self went to him for a gyn appointment after the 2 ob cases thinking something would change. Biggest mistake and my last disappointment. To be specific on one of my OB cases I was going through a miscarriage and he never gave me bedrest and said I was fine. I was bleeding heavily then I went to his office and still gave me and my family the runaround about me losing my baby. He could have just told me from the beginning so, I ended up loosing my baby.  On my GYN appt I had advised him about my cancer history and that I was recommended by a cancer specialist that I needed a hysterectomy and other procedures for me not to go through cancer and die.  His response was " You do not need that, you are young, you do not need that" didn't even check my chart to see if I needed it or not. Someone above his expertise had recommended this and he basically cut me off of my questions and all.  At this point I noticed he was not listening to what I had to say or explain. I walked out of his office with unanswered questions and afraid of asking because he seemed in a hurry and cut me off.  I believe he has some knowledge but not as much as he thinks he might have because he either cuts people off in order to not get asked questions or he just thinks he know too much that he doesn't believe he needs to explain to his patients.  He might know it all but, he needs to break it down to his patients in order for them to understand.  He could have explained.  So all and all I had 3 bad experiences with this doctor and would not recommend him to anyone. He is more like a non-complications patient doctor because he dent have to do much wrk but, just go through the motions.  If there is a complication patient like me he just ignores it and gives it the runaround in order to not deal with it. Which makes me believe he lacks knowledge in certain areas.
