Dr. Meredith Halsey, MD

Meredith Halsey made me feel very insecure as a mother. She scolded me on the amount of screen time I show to my son. I told her we had no limit in my house but that my son doesn't actually sit and watch for more than an hour at a time. He has hit every milestone and even outperforms my friends kids. She scolded me basically saying no more than two hours a day. It was the way she did it. I also had a concern on my son's behavior because he shows signs of hyperactivity. She basically minimized my concerns and questioned me as if I wasn't talking to him correctly. This is not the case, I am a very attentive, compassionate and kind mother who will try anything and everything to connect with him and make him feel heard and safe. She made a comment basically saying that maybe it's not him, maybe it's me. Very discouraging. I left the appointment exhausted, and sad.

MD mentioned debrox drops to prescribe for ear wax removal which I interpreted as prescriptions medicine since she asked for what pharmacy we use. I went to pharmacy twice hoping to pick up prescriptions but nothing was there. I had to call back office to obtain information about mentioned ear drops.
