Ms. Melissa Rena Jackson, LPC, MHR

Ms Jackson and I had an initial call on 2/21 and set an appointment for 2/27. In this call I provided insurance details and she advised she would run everything and contact me confirming costs. She also advised I would receive a text confirmation with the address and time the day before our appointment. On 2/26 I hadn’t received anything and tried contacting her a few times to no avail. I called again on 3/5 and 3/7, no response. I again called on 3/12 and Ms Jackson advised that she had a death in her family, apologized for the inconvenience and we set another appointment for 3/19 at 5:30pm. In this call she advised that she had yet to verify insurance but would have it sorted by our appointment. She also provided the location for our appointment. On the day of the appointment, I arrived at her office at 5:17pm but the doors were locked. I waited till 5:34pm then again tried calling her and left a voice message. To date I have yet to receive any response from Ms. Jackson. This process with her has been unprofessional and a waste of my time. While I sympathize with her loss, Ms.Jackson has not communicated any cancellations and not treated this process the way it should.
