I saw Dr wakamatsu after I was injured by another doctor in her network who was Dr michael Reich. My PCP at the time suggested I go to Mass General. I saw Dr May Wakamatsu. Her demeanor was somewhat uncaring and she made faces during our time talking. There was a question of bladder or uterine prolapse as I had felt something fall or drop and burn with heaviness in my lower abdomen after my last exam.
She did start the exam out slow as I had been in a lot of pain but slowly she got more aggressive until her hand was inside me and she was aggressively pushing my organs toward the ceiling. She was pushing upwards hard behind the area above my pubic bone leaving my urethra bulging. Then she went even deeper inside me pushing upwards behind my organs. it looked like a bunch of tennis balls in my tummy rolling around.,she was just pushing upwards behind my abdominal wall as well.
I bled the next day and was in so much worse pain I called her the next day and her nurses told me to go Er. I was appalled that dr wakamatsu DID NOT return my call. I went to ER where they told me it was period. I KNOW IT WAS NOT MY PERIOD!!!! My pain was unbearable. I continued to call Dr wakamatsu and two weeks later she finally returned my call. She told me lies and changed her story about our visit.
I have been suffering with worse pain and NEW SYMPTOMS since dr Wakamatsu moved my organs. It looked like there were tennis balls in my tummy the way she was moving my insides around. I would like to mention that before all of this I had never had a gynecological problem in my life. NEVER!! There was now a question of a fallen or tipped uterus, bladder etc and i believe she was trying to reposition it or something else without telling me what was going on. When I questioned later why she moved my organs she replied she was looking for fibroids which is strange because I had already had an ultrasound which was fine and had many pelvic exams before her. The technician who performed the ultrasound said my uterus was very tipped when last year my uterus was anteverted ( straight up and down) but the written reports differed.
I would not trust this dr. She lied and lies to help other doctors and she injured and made my pain worse than I was before I went in.
Not a good experience. Stay away
