I requested a referral to see my orthopedic doctor for a steroid injection on my shoulder but my provider insisted on my seeing another doctor for my injection. I see my orthopedic doctor for steroid injections and joint problems because I have RA . My orthopedic doctor had done a knee replacement, reversed shoulder replacement on me and I got upset when I wasn't able to see him instead of a family doctor. The doctor did explain to me that other than giving me the injection on my shoulder he will not do injections on any other parts of the body. So next time I need a injection I hope to see my orthopedic doctor

All good. Ease of using online MyChart/Providence site on computer/phone to schedule my appointment, complete forms, and interact with Dr. Schroeder and his team regarding my blood test results and other medical issues. I was impressed with each member of the medical care team because they were friendly, professional, introduced themselves to me by name, and showed a sincere feeling of care towards me and others in the office. Also, the promptness of comments on MyChart from Dr. Schroeder about my blood results and answering my messages.

I have been having a terrible time getting an additional medication that fully controls my blood pressure but doesn't make me nauseated all day. The Dr. Listened to my complaints and saw in my history a medication I had taken successfully before, that I had forgotten about. He prescribed it, and fingers crossed, I haven taken it several days with no nausea and my blood pressure is GREAT! I am so thankful because I was stressed out and tired of getting new prescriptions that made me sick.

This is the second time I have had an appointment with a Providence doctor. Both times I have been very impressed. Definitely there must be excellent training of the front office staff. They are so polite and friendly; something that is certainly a plus in this current society. The whole set up: coming in, office lobby, initial vitals and doctor visit was excellently performed. Well done to your Providence group and you have earned my definite recommendation to others I know.

The thing I like about Dr. Shroeder is he cuts to the chase. I thought I had pink eye, he didn't think it was pink eye and he was right. I started taking my allergy meds again and the pink eye symptoms disappeared. He Is very straight forward and doesn't skirt around like some of the other doctors I have had. I appreciate that. With that being said, he is super nice and I feel like I can talk to him about any problem I have without feeling embarrassed.

Dr Schroeder is a great new addition to your medical group. What really amazed me is that he could take visit notes on the medical record, his fingers flying across the keyboard while looking at me speaking to him. I have never seen anything like that before. I really felt listened to. It was amazing. Plus, he seems well trained and very competent. It was my first time seeing him, it was for traumatic * injuries after a hard fall.

This was the first time we were seen by Dr. Matthew Schroeder, my husband & I. I couldn't be happier with the way & attentions he gave us. All our questions were answered. We actually would like him as our primary doctor. He is a very caring doctor. I would give him a ten & all the assistants & receptionist were are very respectful & friendly. I would also give them a ten!! We were very pleased with this experience!! Thank you!!

Very friendly people. Receptionists always very nice. Not sure if it's the call center not getting our messages passed on correctly, but lately there were no responses to messages sent to nurse or doctor. In this mess of electronics, who knows??? Quite frustrating when one needs help now, not weeks later. Dr has been most willing to order referrals as needed..Spends lot of time for the appointments, as needed. Much appreciated.

I was very impressed with Dr Schroeder familiarity with my medical records which he had reviewed prior to this visit. He had never seen me before. He ordered the routine lab tests that I needed and rescheduled over my impacted ear wax problem. His office followed up with results of the lab work and arranged necessary referrals that showed up from the lab results. I am very impressed with this doctor!!

Dr. M. Schroeder has the best bed side manner, he is easy to discuss things with, great listener, and makes me feel comfortable. He talks to me with concern/respect. When I ask his opinion on things I don't quite understand, he explains. We go over a plan and I feel at ease and confident with it. I always have a great experience at the office from beginning to end.
