When our 30 days were up, Marlena Romero LCSW (clinical director) refused to release our child to our custody, possibly to fulfill their plan to place my child in foster care. Marlena finally released our child after we hired a lawyer and alerted the local media of a possible kidnapping. FROM MARLENA’S MISTREATMENT OUR CHILD WAS REJECTED FROM OVER 40 RTCs IN THE US. Marlena Romero LCSW put her greed and prejudices over the needs of a desperately lost child and his family. Marlena's handling of our child was unethical, unprofessional, and just ugly.
