I had successfully dropped 80+ pounds through intermittent fasting.
An old hip injury led me to seek out acupuncture.
My first visit with Marisa was for acupuncture.
Marisa failed to inquire as to whether I had been fasting that day.
I had been fasting that day.
Immediately following my first acupuncture session with Marisa, I fell into a deep nausea.
I felt like I had been beaten up.
I couldn't eat, I could barely swallow liquid.
I staggered to the subway station.
I slept for the rest of the day.
Foolishly, I went back to Marisa for a chiropractic adjustment.
I've been going to chiropractors since the early 1970s.
Marisa stands out in stark relief, she was (by far) my worst experience.
Not recommended.

I've gone to Dr. D'Andrea for several different chronic issues that I never had success in treating from traditional medicine.   She's been able to get to the root cause each time and bring me back to health.   She's very professional and highly recommended.
