Working with Dr Thies has been a very good experience.  My mom has many serious medical issues and Dr Thies was the first doctor we worked with after she was released from the hospital.  Now Dr Thies has transitioned to a Primary Care position and we actually switched my mom's primary doctor to see her instead.  She is very good about asking questions rather than just expecting you to tell her what's going on.  Her medical assistant is also wonderful.  Both are detail oriented and very on the ball, getting stuff done faster than any other doctor we've seen in the valley, regardless of specialty (and we've seen a lot).  She's a brand new PCP and currently has lots of time to spend with patients.  So if you have had problems with doctors that expect you to diagnose yourself or who don't spend enough time with you, give her a try.  As a note, she does have an accent (German, I believe?) but I do not find her difficult to understand at all.
