I had a scheduled appointment at 3:10 pm on September 8th, 2021. I arrived the requested 15 minutes early and checked in. Several other patients that entered after me were taken to the exam rooms and I was left alone in the waiting room. At 3:30 pm, I approached the receptionist and asked if she forgot me. She then proceeded to say she had just gotten insurance verification and took my payment. I was then escorted to the Exam Room 9 where I waited until 4:15 pm. The lights in the hallway were turned out and I noticed and I opened the door and again asked "Had I been forgotten". The Medical Assistant stated "that she was notifying the doctor". Dr. Johnston came in approximately 5 minutes later and I explained that I have been waiting a long time. She looked at me and said "you have only been here 30 minutes. I informed Dr. Johnston that I had arrived at 2:55 pm and that my appointment was supposed to be at 3:10 pm. She only stated "How can I help you". She did not acknowledge the excessive time nor did she apologize or try to explain why she was delayed. I advised her she could not assist me at all. I did not/do not trust her to be concerned about my health. I advised I was canceling my appointment and asked for a refund of my payment. The only person that ever acknowledged my feelings and concerns was the person that processed my refund. Dr. Johnston never apologized, never tried to rectify the situation. She does not respect her patients and their time. I would not go to this doctor or office if I were you!
