After a long illness my teen was having a VERY difficult time coping with, well, everything. The level of tension and fear in my house was unbearable. We were at out wits end and didn't know what to do, and then I found Marci. After meeting with her I felt like the weight of the world was being lifted off of my shoulders. My teen connected to her easily and he improved daily. Today he is happy and well adjusted. I cannot begin to thank Marci enough for her help, she saved my family!
Marci Stiles claims to be an adolescent specialist but it is my experience that she does far more harm than good. She isn't savvy about standard teen behavior and didn't work with our family to achieve goals, rather she bought into our teen's attempts to negotiate things as simple as curfew times and as complex as contact with peers causing harm. We left after months of frequent visits with more issues than we initially sought therapy for. She does NOT file insurance and talked us into believing our best chance for success would be several (up to 8) high dollar visits per month. Vulnerable parents should be very cautious.
