I can't really say I enjoyed couples counseling in general, but if I had to I would say that I am really glad I chose Dr. Shulman. We were looking for marriage counselors in the Garden City area on Long Island and Dr. Shulman was one of the first ones that came up that seemed like they knew what they were talking about. He was genuinely someone that seemed to care about taking in both sides and not demonizing one of us. His approach involved a lot of self-reflection, which I can tell you both my wife and I needed. Overall, just a great couples counselor and I'm really happy I saw him over some of the others.
