Mrs. Lyndse Michele Ashley, APRN

Initially, we started seeing Lyndse in 2015 after my daughter was institutionalized for thoughts of hurting herself.  We had seen several other providers after she was released with no help, compassion or understanding.  My daughter was not a child that I or myself gave life to, but was a child we loved and were able to bring into our home via the Foster System.  She had several opsticals that she had to overcome and struggled doing so, then her bio father passed, which sent her spiraling out of control.  For months after she was released we sought treatment for her, and either providers would cancel (and often not even advise us until we were at the office for an appt), or just didn't give her any time to talk and express how she was feeling.  It was always "Hows the medicine doing?  Do you want to harm yourself or others?, etc. "  She refused to open up to any of them.  Approx a year after her release we found Lyndse and it changed our life forever.  She has not only helped my daughter, but also another one of my children who has had difficulties in life.  She gives these girls time to talk.  To express how the meds are effecting them.  Lyndse wants to know exactly how you are feeling, when are you sleeping, how long are you sleeping, how do you feel when you wake up. She asks about 15 times the amount of questions and does so on a level that each of my teenage daughters understands, and takes the time to hear the answers and never acts like she is rushed.  When one of my girls states that they don't like the way a certain med is effecting them, then she is very thorough in her investigation as to "why" they don't like it.  What is it they don't like?  She breaks it down to such simple terms that my girls understand, which is in part why I think both of my very reserved daughters actually are willing to open up to her and not just give the "I'm okay" response.  I don't know where we would be without her.  
And she is ALWAYS punctual!!!  I have NEVER had to wait more than 15 mins for any appointment ever, and the "typical" wait time is maybe 5 mins.  I am not sure what happened with the other patient who gave her a 1 star, but I can tell you this, there is now 3 people of my family being treated by Lyndse and we wouldn't change it.  So much so that her previous office stopped taking our insurance and I decided that I would just work enough OT to cover all 3 visits as a self pay (which isn't cheap!).
