If you want to just talk and talk and talk and get nowhere, this is the girl for you. She doesn't seem to know anything about empathy. When I told her about a very devastating occurrence in my life, it was as if she didn't even hear me. No comment, mo compassion. Wow. I let that slide and then realized after the second appointment that all we do is talk. When I asked her what kinds of therapy she was planning to use and what kind of treatment plan she had, she said - are you ready? Talk therapy! Yeah. I just feel like I've wasted my time and money AND it's extremely disheartening to tell my whole life story over and over again to new therapists. She is very disappointment to say the least. She told me she works full time at Fairwinds so maybe she's just tired after working a full day on her regular job and has no energy for counseling? Don't know, but I do know I am done with her. Don't bother.
